"Nothing To See Here" - BFA

Travel is more than simply getting from point A to point B. It is my intention to capture a portion of the experience. There are often large sections of a trip that are not recalled, vast areas are passed by without acknowledgment. Whole vistas are missed and as a driver it is impossible to take in all the scenery. Many things can distract from the road such as phones, music, conversations, and maps. This project attempts to compile and compress instances; partly as a memory aid and as documentation of where I have gone. People remember experiences in various ways and draw significance from different moments. I have presented photographs, videos, and combined them in ways that may spark recognition and show the sum of a trip.
